Glashütte’s Original Senator Observer Won The ‘gq’ Magazine Time Awards Design Of The Year

‘GQ’ magazine readers and expert judges once again selected the best men’s watch of 2015. On Tuesday, September 29th, local time, the awards ceremony was held at the Bavarian Hof Hotel in Munich, Germany. Christina Hentschel, Glashütte’s original vice president of marketing, represented all my colleagues in the Saxon watch factory at the awards ceremony and accepted the award.

This year’s GQ Time Awards selection is divided into eight categories: best entry-level watches, best sports watches, best formal watches, best worn watches, best innovative watches, best chronograph watches, most Best Designed Watch and Participation Award. Glashütte’s original Senator Observer wins the best design category.

This watch that won the readers and expert judges of GQ magazine is an original 2015 new work by Glashütte. It is a modern interpretation of the historical and traditional watch. It is equipped with an exquisitely polished automatic movement. Well, even in low-light environments, it can ensure excellent reading results.
